Hi All,

I have a production data who comes from a blackoil simulation (i.e. gas and oil are assumed to be in equilibrium at std conditions).

To input this in HYSYS, I need ofc to adjust the composition of the oil and gas. In my mind, this should be done by a flash at std conditions and then adjust the flowrate at that compositions to match that of the production profile.

However, I saw many reports where people use the riser arrival conditions (let´s say 15 bar and 40oC to adjust that).

Does anyone know why many people perform this adjustment using the arrival conditions and not std conditions?

Ps: in both scenarios the flowrates are measured in std conditions, my concern is only about the equilibrium adjustment, whether it is performed at std or arrival conditions.
