Dear Members,

 

I am trying to design a heat exchanger for cooling diesel. To determine the thermo-physical properties, I need a typical diesel composition. Appreciate if someone could please share a typical diesel composition that will help me design my heat exchanger.

You may use a distillation curve of diesel (e.g. ASTM D86) to estimate the properties in a process simulator

Hi All,

If I get the composition of a diesel cut then using simulation tools the properties can be determined. I am not able to get the composition of diesel. Hence the request.
