Hi everyone,

I have a question but I am not sure where to ask this in this forum, so apologies up front if this is the wrong place!

I took the liberty of translating all VBA UDFs in the Water97 Excel add-in so they use native Excel functions. This should speed up calculations using these functions tremendously: https://jkp-ads.com/...convert-vba.asp

My question is two-fold:

1. I tried to get hold of the author of the original water97 file, does anyone know how I might reach this user: https://www.cheresou...200039-bspang/

2. Is anyone willing to try the newly translated functions using one of their own projects? (For now, it requires you to be part of the Office Insider program and have a Microsoft 365 license)

Thanks in advance to anyone responding!

Regards,

Are you referring to an Excel downloaded workbook you found in our Library?  Was it created and submitted by bspang (Bernard Spang)?

Have you tried sending an email to Bernard Spang?

You can also try to contact his "friends" in his personal information page.

Bernard was very active communicating on the Internet at one time.  He may be retired now - many of us are.  You are in the Nederlands so you have a better chance of making contact with him if he is still in Germany.

Good luck.

According to their profile, bspang was "Last Active Nov 15 2016 02:56 PM".  That was 5.5 years ago.  I doubt you reach them.  Can you see his e-mail address in his profile?  I can't remember if that is visible to non-admin folks.

Thank you both for responding.

@Art Yes, I'm referring to this page: http://www.cheresour...ater-and-steam

I have tried to contact Bernhard, but he hasn't responded. I tried searching him on-line, but could not find any contact information.

@latexman: No, I cannot see his email address

Try Bernard's email address of 5 years ago.

Also, consider: most of us are in our "golden" years.  Bernard may - heaven forbid - have passed away.  Let's hope that isn't true.
