Dear Sir,

 

Objective : Development of Process Model of Refinery Desalter in ASEPN HYSYS V11 for Operator Training

Exclusions: Settling of water droplets, Electric Grid Current , Mud Washing are not included in model 

 

Issues: 

 

I am not knowing how to model Interface Level Controller in HYSYS. What should be PV value for Configuration of this. 

Also how to configure other level controllers for boot water and total liquid level here.

What should be mix valve Delta P here?

 

I have taken aqueous level in HYSYS for level taps in Three Phase Separator here.

 

Please advice on this. What kind of controllers need to be configured in HYSYS like pressure Controller for Desalter Overhead Line pressure etc. 

What are the line sizes of Crude inlet line to desalter and Wash Water Line Sizes ?

 

Can you share sample P and ID and PFD if you have any?
