I am calculating the nitrogen needed to protect a substance from being oxidized. I am confused, I have reviewed the topics that are related to the subject but I have not been able to clarify my doubt, I do not know if I should use annex F or section 3.3.2 for the application. Please can someone help me clarify this point?

I don't know the reference mentioned but you may find pointers in the document attached .

Sorry, I thought I wrote the reference, it's the API Standard 2000 7th edition, section 3.3.2 and annex F, I don't know which of the two parts is better for the application I have.
