Dear Sir,

I wanted to now what all process parameters are monitored for Dilution Steam Generator System in Ethylene Plant .

Also what will be normal values for Total Organic Carbon (TOC) and Oil & Grease for Proces Water Stripper (PWS)?

Best Regards,

CHEMSTRONG

Olefins crackers operate at low pressure after the furnace hydrocarbon feed is mixed with steam. This dilution steam can be generated from recovered process water. The olefins plant should have a set of books provided by the plant designer describing the process and would be an excellent place to begin learning the whys and hows of the process. A web search also reveals useful information such as this report on dilution steam generation: https://www.klmtechg...ROCdraft5.0.pdf
