Caustic Tower In One Dual Feed Cracker Unit

In our plant caustic tower foaming happened 2 times in a day. Each time we inject antifoam to reduce the foam .
The question is in normal process how can caustic tower PDI increases.

Foaming in caustic towers is a normal issue to deal with,,.. In plant it is reduced searching the source of the Foaming component goind into the colums, ( heavy organic in PPM fractions help a lot to proceded foamsv) and trying to reduce it, sometimes solids carryover induce foaming.
I didn't get what you mean with PDI increases, are you talking about of Differential pressure increases???.
