Hi to all,

working on gas sweetening unit. Have to reduce the CO2 from 10mol% to 1mol%. While using the MDEA solution, the amine regeneration flow is too high.

My query is,

1. Is better to use amine model for the unit or shall i go for adsorption?

2. Is any hybrid model is available to achieve the 1 mol% co2 in outlet gas specification?

Clarifying your question might help readers understand better what you want. Assuming you are asking about a computer simulation, MDEA acid gas systems are not accurately modeled using normal steady-state vapor-liquid equilibrium. Ask your software vendor what they recommend as some have specific methods built into their simulation software.
