Gas Bubbles In Soda Beverages

I wasn't sure where to post this and decided to put it here.
I'm curious why don't the gas bubbles just flash of the liquid Beverages after the can or the bottle is opened?
In other words, why do these bubbles takes long time untill the escape the liquid despite the system is depressurized?
Appreciate your time and ideas...

I would guess there is a pressure and concentration gradient with the beverage and atmosphere that prevents it from fully flashing, also at the interface, there is always some concentration of CO2, which would affect the equilibria between the phases. If you were to open this beverage in a vaccuum, i would guess the gas bubbles would fizzle out very quickly, but still not instantaneous (nothing is really instantaneous).

The next time you have a cold carbonated beverage from a can, shake it up before you open it. You will be surprised.
