Hello,

 

I am studying the neutralization of  Sulphonic Acid  with Soda Ash to make the detergent for Leather industry. 

 

Where the pH must be 7.0-8.0 for resultant material.

I need the guidance that

1-What is the product made by the reaction of the said chemicals?

 2- Is it Hazardous for human beings?

3- Soda Ash is Better or Soda Caustic' to neutralize the Sulphonic Acid?

 4- What Safety precaution should be taken for this process ?

5- Any Danger of this processing is?
