Dear all  ,  Dermat

I searched in the forum any post on venturi & injection and would like some support for understanding thermo and hydraulic in a pressurized venturi.

Within a liquid main flow entering in a venturi at pressure P, there is a compressed air lateral injection in the tube before the excentic outflow at Pressure P1  with P1>P.

the question are in this short period of contact :

- does solubilization of air can occurs ? or massive bubbles are forming

- what are assumptions on the final flow ? (sum of the 2 flows ?) and velocities

I thank you by advance for any support and guidance.

Hi Breizh,

Thank's for this.

Two main points that will help me "choked flow" and the fact that a supersonic regime occurs an that some kinetic energy will transfer to pressure at the end of the venturi.

I will read and back to the forum.

Sire,

Hi,

I recommend you and others, tutorials on Youtube under fluid mechanic introduction to compressible flow from CPP Mechanical engineering tutorial. lecture 26 to 34 by Professor John R.Biddle.

Great teacher with very good material
