Hi,

I would like to understand how the eductor/ejector work in terms of variable flow from 20 ML/d to 385 ML/d.

The feed rate is from 1 kg/h up to 120 kg/h

The eductor/ejector will be installed in gas chlorine system for drinking water disinfection.

Looking at the supplier datasheets they specify feed rate for example up to 120 kg/h and with known backpressure we can find out min inlet pressure and min inlet water flow from the chart.

But how such eductor/ejector operates under the minimum flow??? I know there are variable orifice eductors/ejectors but are they capable to get down so low to 1 kg/h????

I will appreciate your response.

Thank you.

Hi,

To me not possible because this ejector/eductor is a static piece of equipment, where performance is affected with little variation of process parameters or motive stream (pressure) or erosion for example.

My understanding and experience with steam ejectors.
