I would like to ask you if there are typical flowrates loading to trucks?
Thank you in advance!

Check with your trucking company. It will depend on what material you are handling.

Hi,
My experience on this matter, I've seen companies using meters to unload their trucks, others were using truck scale to invoice their customers. To me the flow rate depends on the specificity of the product and the accuracy required to fill in your capacity.

Hi,
Typical fluid velocity for loading is average 2 m/s and maximum 3 m/s. You can calculate the typical flow rate based on the pipe size...

Hi Nasser,panagiotis,
Need to be cautious here, it depends very much on the product, flammability, static electricity risk.

Hi Breizh,
Ok, such parameters should also be considered in specifying the flow rate...for loading...

Thank you for your replies. 3 m/sis a quite general velocity criterion, right?

Hi,
Is this an academic work?
We have no idea about the product. Truck loading is not a simple operation, check MSDS of the product and forget about simple criteria.

Hi everyone,
Thank you for your replies. 3 m/sis a quite general velocity criterion, right?
No. Depends on loading arm, track vessel, product, vapor recovery and many other things. describe in detail your case to provide a valuable response.
More details = better answers

The mixture consists of some prepolymers.
Your answers are helpful enough. All of you gave me a good insight. ????

Hi,
OK, the reason why it's important to check for static electricity.
velocity max 1m/s,
Some companies are using chemicals (ppm) to mitigate the risk. I had this requirement from a company in Australia where we were supplying resins (polymers).

Good luck
