Hi,

I would like to calculate the average consumption in Nm3/h.

the peak consumption for a nitrogen purging is 16.8 Nm3/h.

Pressurization happens for 30 mins. and everytime a trailer is loaded/unloaded, nitrogen purge needs to happen. Assume per day there are 8 trailers loaded/unloaded.

Please let me know,

Sum the total quantity in a day and divide by the number of hours in a day to get an hourly average. If your difficulty with this problem is a typical struggle for you, consider whether engineering is the best fit for your strengths. I have known working engineers who have changed careers successfully and happily. It is easier to change while still a student.
