Dear forum members,

I am seeking advice regarding the cooling system for my facility. Currently, we have a chiller that can cool gas down to 10°C. However, we also have other units that require cooling down to 20°C. I would greatly appreciate your expert insights on whether it would be advisable to centralize the cooling system or if it would be better to have separate chiller units per package. I am looking for information on the advantages and considerations of both approaches in terms of efficiency, maintenance, and cost-effectiveness. Thank you in advance for your valuable input.

Hi,

My experience with Chillers, separate chillers especially when the temperature set is different.

BTW we don't have any information about the duty.

For maintenance you may want to have a contract in place, or your maintenance crew can handle it.

I cannot give any advice without knowing the duty of each chiller.

Hi Experts, thanks much for the replies. The duty of one cooler is 70 kW. (2 units). The other unit may have a duty same or may go up to max of 100 kW. Please let me know.
