hi all

is there any standard of alloy material for production,storage and transfere of food grade hexane?

is carbon suitable for production of food grade or it should be ss type?

for storage and transfer, is it necessary to be coated?

Definitely CS is not an option.
Consider SS 304 at minimum.

For food applications international standard establish SS 304 or 306. Thickness for food grade is different for industrial grade.
