Hello, I am working on my preliminary plant design about hydrogenation methyl ester and hydrogen to form fatty alcohol as main product and methanol as by product. I use trickle bed reactor with downflow cocurrent where the products that come out are divided into two streams, liquid and gas. So, I want to know which components among methyl ester, fatty alcohol, methanol, and hydrogen exist in liquid and gas forms. If I want to find this out, what approach can I take? Because information about the solubility data between these components is very limited. The reaction pressure is in 50 atm and the temperature is 250°C. Thank you!
