Hi,

My design operation changed last minute unfortunately. I'm going to design a multi-tubular fixed bed reactor I am stuck on the kinetics and would love a little guidance on the steps required for the kinetics behind it.

Its a multi tubular fixed bed reactor modelling a heat exchanger.

Looking up information on this type of reactor was hard to find and I am struggling.

All help is appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Hi,

Google "tubular fixed bed" and you will find info (papers, tutorial).

Use also the search engine in this forum, you will find posts archived on this subject.

BTW we have no idea about your real problems.

Engineering is about hard work.

Good luck

We will not teach you ChE. That is supposed to happen at University, but if you show details, your work, and ask specific technical questions, we’ll try to help.

Start with Google. Refine the search to get to pertinent technical information.
