Hi all,
I'd like to evaporate a mixture of propylene oxide, water, propylene glycol and dipropylene glycol in multiple effect evaporator, in this case, triple effect evaporator. I'd like to evaporate all of the propylene oxide and a big fraction of water, leaving small fraction of water, propylene glycol and dipropylene glycol in the liquid product.
The question are, how do I calculate the needed temperature and pressure to obtain the vaporized and liquid product with the specification that I'd like to achieve? And also, how do I calculate the boiling point rise (BPR) for each effect as most of the calculation examples are in binary component?
I hope this makes sense.
Kind regards,
Addie
