I would like to know how can I calculate for the correct air consumption of the actuators that I currently working on.

For example, the actuator model is CBB520-SR80-CW and the Actuator volume is around 2.5 L. I need to provide the air consumption in Nm3/hr. Plant air is 5 barg, valve is fail close with closure time of 4sec. Our vendor provided a value of 2 Nm3/hr as the air consumption value but I doubt if its correct since they have not considered the air pressure.

Please assist

Hi,

You may want to contact these guys:

Note: I don't understand your last sentence, they provide you data in Nm3/h, it's up to you to convert, if necessary, at your pressure/temperature conditions.

Good luck.
