Why do you want to use a ball valve? I suggest contacting your valve vendor for their recommendation.

Hi,

Agree with Pilesar. Please explain your choice. Cost cannot be the driver.

The project designer consider for isolating the steam service. but if want to isloate the line, the ball valve had leakage too much. finally, i decide to change with gate valve if possible.

the 511 AG 2C7 item code isnot suitable, Now i consultant with valve shop, he said i can change the PTFE that work in 300oC but i think fail the seal ring after 3month in service.

Breizh

Seems PTF2 is specific manucatrurer's article, not a material. While in the table above PTF2 is mentioned as a material.

the 511 AG 2C7 item code isnot suitable,

Then which one item is suitable? ))) Why did you share this doc?

Now i consultant with valve shop, he said i can change the PTFE that work in 300oC but i think fail the seal ring after 3month in service.

As per my experience with PTFE the real temp limit for intermittent service of 95% PTFE availble on market is 180-220°C.

The rest 5% 240-260°C but the price is high and you shall rely on manufacturer/supplier reputation/references instead of specification.
