gents,

 

I'd like to let you know that our low pressure steam boiler (water tube type) is in preservation since 2015.

There is a plan to started for test to check its integrity and reliability. Hydro test carried out successfully. Also, baroscopic inspection performed for tubes side, unfortunately it was observed scales formed along tube with localized corrosion.

It is recommended the boiler should have chemical cleaning (boil-out process).

So. we have lack of documents, proper chemicals, and related procedure.

 I am grateful to all who give us help or advice to solve this issue.

Hi,

My advice: Get contact with companies selling chemical treatments, they should support you and offer guaranties.

Try big names like Betz, GE, Nalco, Suez,... and may be some local suppliers

Let you try local suppliers if you are confident with them , better to go fo Big Guys who can offer expertise and performances.I've in mind GE,Betz,Nalco, Suez Veolia.

I agree, consult with specialists. The treatment will vary based on the scale properties.
