Hello, I am a mechanical engineer and new user with ASPEN and processes. I learned a lot of thing with ASPEN such as sizing a two phase separator and heat exchanger. I need all of that to make a purification system for green hydrogen production. So i need to make a simulation of drying adsorption tower using molecular sieve.

and i also need to simulate a tower using a platinum catalyst to deoxidization the oxygen in hydrogen stream.

Use the AspenPlus SEP block to specify the outlet stream with water removed. The SEP block may also be used for the deoxidation tower depending on your needs. The SEP block is a way to separate components when you know the composition answer already. The resulting stream can then be passed to downstream unit blocks while preserving the material balance. You will need to use other resources to answer design questions like 'how much mol sieve do I need?' or 'how much catalyst will I need?' For answers to questions like 'how much flow can I put through a deoxidization tower of specific diameter?' then the packed bed hydraulics found in the RadFrac column block might be useful. AspenPlus still won't answer such questions directly and you should use outside resources for guidance.

A mech engineer and process modelling

Seems bad

Why have you taken this task up?
