Hello,

I'm working on design of LPG deethanizer column and I got stuck in the simulation of the shortcut column to get preliminary results for rigorous column in Aspen hysys.

What is the specification of propane mole fraction ( heavy key in the overhead vapour ethane product), and the specification of ethane mole fraction ( light key in the bottom deethanized LPG product).

I have found an article said that a ratio of C2/C3 of 2% mole in bottom is common.

Thank you ????

Try the ChemSep Column.  It is easier to set up and use.
