Why not just use large, fast valves in the simulation? Large enough and fast enough should be good enough.

Hi Pilesar,
I was wondering if you have an example simulation file demonstrating this?
Specifically, I'm interested in how changing feed streams affects downstream unit performance (e.g., phase behavior, reaction yield, or separation efficiency). If you have a sample case or any tips on setting up dynamic composition changes, I’d really appreciate your insights!
Thanks in advance!

My dynamic simulation work was many years ago with different software and I have no example file for you. Unless there is much more to your case study than described, steady state simulation seems like it would provide most of the answers you seek. Dynamic simulation would not add much.
