Hello Everyone, I'm a final year college student studying chemical engineering and new to this website. I am really in need of project ideas to work on. My interest are Mass transfer, fluid mechanics, Process Engineering design and I'm good at theory and calculations but I lack practical experience. Professionals please help me .

Hi,

My experience when I was student (final year) was to design a facility for x thousands of tons per year. It was a teamwork (4 colleagues), 3 months' work (24*7). Starting from Bibliography, mass and heat balances, simulations, flowsheets, equipment design and sizing, Costing, report.

Because you are in India, I would suggest the manufacturing of Paracetamol or Aspirin 10000 t/year.
