Hello Everyone,
I hope everyone is staying healthy. I would like to inquire if there are any standard practices or facilities in place handling leaking bowser filled with petroleum product or for dealing with a bowser whose compartments are accidentally been filled with two separate products e.g., diesel and gasoline.

Kindly share your experiences !

As to leaking, loading/unloading spots are curbed and drained to a containment sump/area.

As to filling error, idk. It seems it would be an unplanned event that would have to be handled separately based on the contents.

Isolate the leaking container. Absorb or divert any liquid runoff to a safe location. Transfer liquid contents to a non-leaking container. Clean leaking container. Evaluate leaking container for repair.

If you have a petroleum mixture that does not meet original product specs, then determine the degraded specs. You might possibly blend the liquid with on-spec fuel or sell the liquid waste to someone who can use it as boiler fuel or as refinery feedstock.

Forty years ago, I used to add about 5% diesel to my Camaro when filling it with gasoline. The car's engine ran quieter and smoother but was sometimes difficult to start.

Gasoline + diesel is known as transmix. The best way to dispose of it is to sell it to someone who runs a transmix splitter, or to just dump it into a crude distillation unit along with the crude. How much are we talking?
