Dear Fellow engineers,

I'm trying to construct an aspen hysys simulation of a natural gas dehydration unit utilizing TEG, the natural gas flow rate at the inlet is around 700,000 Sm3/day, however I came across an issue where the stripping gas flow rate is abnormally low, the client provided a range of 1.5 to 2.5 Sm3/hr of stripping gas at 5 barg, the issue is that through the simulation I am unable to reach similar results of water content to that experienced on field. An other issue it with the stripping column hydraulics profiles, the given stripping gas flow rate is way below the minimum gas flow rate that would achieve a sufficient pressure drop per meter packing which is around 300 Sm3/hr. My question is, is a stripping gas flow rate of 2.5 Sm3/hr normal for the given natural gas flow?
