Theoretical Trays

Natural gas dehydration towers and natural gas decarbonization towers are both absorption towers. The question is how to calculate the number of theoretical trays for the towers, or use Hysys simulation for the calculation.

I would like to know how to use a simulator to accurately calculate the number of theoretical plates, or in other words, what the specific steps are.thanks

If you have access to a simulator, you should be able to find tutorials online for your specific application.

Youtube channel should be an option or helpdesk for your specific simulator. 

Even Google AI can offer you some info about the design of the column, is it enough to start? probably yes if you ask for the number of trays, is it reliable? here comes your engineering judgment.

Tell us about the simulator you want to use , should be hysys or promax ?
