A research report from the 1970's shows dissociative extraction may be capable of purifying two organic acids. I imagine fitting the data and modeling the separation. Factors are pH of operation, pKa Vs T for acids, activity of the ionized and unionized species.

What physical property approaches have been used, to simulate the theoretical stage extraction performance? Specifics applying aspen plus would be appreciated but are not required.
