Hi!!

Does anybody know the folrmula that gives the corrected density to 15 oC for petroleum (generalized products)????

and the formula that gives the volume correction factor to 15 oC???

It's been a while since I've looked at this, but there is an API measurement standard that give the equations. It's basically just a thermal expansion calculation, but the API standard gives some coefficients for different types of common liquid hydrocarbons (Condensate, LPG, gasoline, etc).

Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of this standard anymore and I don't remember the number, so anyone else who knows what standard I'm talking about please jump in.

I believe the full standard is about 14 volumes and covers all aspects of flow measurement in the petroleum industry. I could be wrong but I think it is referred to as API MPS (Measurement of Petroleum Standards). The specific section that deals with temperature compensation of liquids is fairly small.

You are correct.
The formulas I am looking for,re in the API-ASTM Petroleum Measurement tables Volume X , which I do not have, and can't find this specific one in a Bookstore.
