I am a Process Engineer that work for a engineering company. We are in a final process for OSBL conceitual project quotation of a new Polypropylene Plant.

We do not receive any technical paper about the process itself up to now but I would like to know a little bit more about Gas Phase Polypropylene Production (UNIPOL PP or INNOVENE seems to be the probable technologies).

Where can I find white papers for this subject? I had tried throught internet but with no sucess.

I really appreciate any help.

Hi,

Please refer the Hydrocarbon processing magazine's yearly Petrochemical handbook for a brief detail of the process.

If you need any specific info you can post it here . I had lot of information on the process as I had worked as a Technical Service Engineer for 6 years on UNIPOL PP plants in past .

Thank you very much for your information. Hydrocarbon Processing as you suggested is a good start point. I will order the book you suggested (Petrochemical Handbook) but it will take time to receive down here in South America (Brazil). If you have a brief description of the process with a PFD that can be sent by email, it will be a great help (suely@jpnor.com.br).
