Hi,
I am interested in producing superheated steam at:
1. 900C
2. 2 bar and 15 bar (optional)
3. 5400 kg/h
4. fuel: methane (preferably mixture of higher alcohols up to propanol)
For as long as I have been reading, no furnace has a temperature of 900C. If there is such equipment, can someone let me know the material and type of equipment?
I also need shortcut methods on sizing the equipments
Thanks!!

I havent really got a decent answer to your problem but as you havent had a reply in two weeks I thought Id write anyway.
Ive never had any involvement with boilers but there are certainly furnaces running hotter.
Global Olivine make furnces that run >2000oC (normally for pyrolysis). Most ceramics would be quite safe at 900oC. Im sure there are specialist metals too.
