hi friend..
i need ur help
nowadays im doing my project about plug flow reactor with recycle simulated in hysys 3.1. i have 4 reactions (the process condition is in 25oC and 1 atm):
hcho + 1/2 o2 ----- hcooh ------ co + h2o
2hcho ------- hcooch3
hcooch3 + h2o ------- ch3oh + hcooh
when i already simulated it to hysys, something has happened.
1. the conversion only happened for 1st and 2nd reaction, for the 3rd and 4th reaction doesnt have a conversion.
2. when i ignored it, and i turned it to dynamic, hysys asking for K value (if im not mistake, K value is pressure flow), what is that mean?
what i want to ask u are:
1. how can i get the 3rd and 4th conversion? did i fill a wrong data?
what is K value and how i can get it?
