can anyone reffer me a book explaining mass and energy balance for cooling tower .......... or ... if anyone can provide me with a solved example of finding the heat load or heat removed from water in a cooling tower ...if we know the flow rates of air and water ..and temprature conditions........

I recall that Milton Beychok, a known and respected expert in this field, has discussed this very topic on several occasions on our forums and even furnished detailed equations on the heat & mass balance around a cooling tower.

Exhaust the possibility that this subject has already been dealt with in prior posts by using our Search Engine. A typical key word is mbechok, Milton, Milton Beychok, or maybe even Milt.
