I am in my final year and my design project is about Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle. I am designing a tar catalytic cracker, so i need information on how to start the design and run the simulation using ASPEN. Can someone help? thanks in advance.

Neilsen,

You will hardly go through catalytic reactions modeling by yourself, without any proven and reliable built-in moduls of specific reacting system. I am not sure about Aspen (which software, by the way?), but KBC Advanced Technologies from London company may be of some help to you (Petro-SIM). I know that they have models of HVGO cracking (FCC units), Naphtha Reformer, Distillate HDS etc. Their software is basically Hysys, with Excel-based integrated moduls of refinery reactors.
