I have to make an article on famous industrial accidents such as Bhopal incident, chernobyl. So if you have presentations, articles, documents, web sites links can you link them on replies.

Incident in Texas City (BP refinery) is excellent story to be elaborated. Using Google search engine will lead you to many interesting articles, photographies, reports etc. Some of these materials are uploaded in ChE forums, I think.

I can't remember the link of website where official investigation report can be downloaded from. Maybe other forum members can assist in this subject.

Best regards,

The link that Zauberberg refers to is the website of the US Chemical Safety Board: http://www.chemsafet...r...o&INV_ID=52

Good starting point for what you call 'famous' accidents is the book "Loss Prevention in the Process Industries" by Frank P. Lees
