Dear all,

I and my colleagues ar bulding a lab scale plant. This plant will include air filters. Filters must be cleaned and among all possibilities we are considering reverese pulse jet cleaning. Because filters are small, we were not able to obtain (so far) a manufacturer of cleaning system for so small filters. now we are considering to bult our own system.

I am courios to know if anyone has expirience in jet pulse cleaning?
Which ar the most important parameters to consider? Does anyone know methods for designing (quick estimate) of such system?
If we do it wrong, are there any simple ways to correct our mistake (for example higher air pressure, larger or smaller nozzle...)?
In some filter systems (but not all) there is so cold venturi nozzle instaled at filter entrance. What is the pourpose of this nozzle?

Thank you very much for your answers.

Best regars
