Hi All,

I am recently working on a potential project to build a facility expansion for reacting glyphosate and ammonium hydroxide to produce ammonium-glyphosate. Ammonia will be emitted after the reaction takes place and i wonder if anyone knows the current technology used to control ammonia emission. I did some research and it seems like wet scrubbing is the most common method being used to vent ammonia. Anyone has any idea where i can get more information about ammonia wet scrubbing and anyone can possibly recommend me some well-known company that manufactures scrubber for volatile scrubbing.

I know of at least one company located in Florida, USA that claimed to be able to control NH3 emissions down to very low levels. This is an extremely difficult task. The company did so using a packed wet scrubbing process. I believe the inventor's name was something like Peterson, but I can't be sure as it's been a pretty long time since I had an interest in this. Good luck.
