Hi!!
I haved tried to find the best properties package to the mixture ammonia-water, but I couldn`t find information about it. Can anybody tell me which properties package does Aspentech recommend to work with when there is a process that work with an ammonia-water mixture?????

the best one is Sour SRK.

The Sour SRK model combines the Soave Redlich Kwong and Wilson's API-Sour Model and can be be applied to sour water strippers, hydrotreater loops, crude columns, or any process containing hydrocarbons, acid gases, and H2O.
This option uses Wilson's model to account for the ionization of the H2S, CO2, and NH3 in the aqueous water phase. The aqueous model employs a modification of Van Krevelen's original model with many of the key limitations removed. The K-value of water is calculated using an empirical equation, which is a function of temperature only.

Good luck

Thank you all buddies!!!!!
Have anybody found a recommendation directly from ASPEN-HYSYS to use a specific type of "property package" for the NH3-H2O mixture?. It is just that I'm working in a final project, so everything have to be well-justified. I don't have acces to the official web page, so I cannot ask it directly to them.
Thanks.

Applicability of thermo-models is documented in HYSYS tutorials, with detailed explanation of property parameters calculation procedures. Just go through "Simulation basis" chapter.

Additional information and few technical articles related to HYSYS can be found at:

http://people.clarks...gn/refhysys.htm
And application developed by Hyprotech, for assistance in thermo-model selection:

Sour PR/ Sour SRK are mainly used for sour water stripping applications and are limited up to pressures about 3.0 - 3.5bar, with enhanced predictions of CO2, H2S and NH3 equilibrium parameters.
