Dear all,
I'm studying chemical engineering.in regard to my project, i need to know information about meraptan removal on the basis of "DMD process with serox unit".
I know only that, DMD process, based on SEROX process, has a consumption unit of sulfur - alkaline water. SEROX process can transform toxic sodium sulfied to innocuous salt , non-toxic sulfide and sodium sulfide. DMD process together with SEROX unit is a combination which can rid light hydrocarbon feedstock from toxic sulfuric compounds without producing hazardous waste and endangering the environment.

Thanks in advance

It's unknown to me, and it looks like it has been developed relatively recently; though it looks quite similar to UOP MEROX, and MERICHEM technologies for removal of sulfur species. Google doesn't offer to many references.

Good luck,
