I am a mechanical engineer and metallurgist. I have been asked to develop comprehensive procurement and fabrication specifications for a new sour water storage tank at a local refinery. Does anyone have a source for such specifications that I may use as a guideline for the development of my documents?

Dear Randy you must clear type sour impurity for example H2S OR OTHER material?
And also the level of sour agent and temperature of your sour water?

Or maybe we can start with:Dear Randy you must clear type sour impurity for example H2S OR OTHER material?
And also the level of sour agent and temperature of your sour water?
1. Sources of sour water in your system
2. Expected H2S content
3. Possible contaminants such as [a] NH3 [b] Hydrocarbon [c] possibility of phenolic/cyanide compounds
Then maybe some of the forum members can chip in based on their experience. I may be able to give a pointer or two since I've handled sour water system myself.
