Hello everybody,
Can anyone help me by explaining how to generate heat & material balance for a case simulation?
I had finished a case study simulation of condensate stabilization using HYSYS and need to generate H&M balances and then extract them in Excel.

Can anyone help and guide?

Download Hysys Stream Reporter from the Aspentech website for the version you are using. You will be able to customise the the heat and material balance (stream summary) in excel format.

Hi there,

No need to use large font since we all have good eye-vision here in ChE forums tongue.gif
If your company has dedicated documents representing H&MB, you can simply use "Copy" command within the HYSYS environment and paste the data in the original (company) worksheet. It works 100% of time.

hi, is it possible to give a quick explanation on Heat & Material Balance study and the main purpose about it? All i can find is you use the mass & energy balance in order to acquire the required energy for the flow. But can explain abit more in detail? So a non-process guy can understand more easily...
