hi

I hav to do a gas pipeline simulation. I need to check the hydrate formation at the arriving process conditions. so which model i need to select for hydrate utility check? out of
free water, symmetric, asymmetric or vapor only? what is the selection criteria? Pls help.
gas composition has .02 mol% water in natural gas.

Read Aspen tutorials; it depends what is the phase in equilibrium with hydrates. Most likely it is the vapor phase in your pipeline.
Asymmetric model can be selected as the initial model; based on this model prediction you can switch to other models, if required.
