Is there anyone who knows how to calculate flash point temperature for a mixture of course in case u know the flash point for each component..??

For example 80% C1 + 15% C2 + 5% C3 and heavier

is there any specific formula to calculate that or it should be only calculated experimentally??

Regards,
Omar

Omar,

There was an earlier thread on this, which had a very nice discussion on subject of flash point of crude oil (mixture of various components). You need to go through this to have a understanding on the subject. Here is the link:

Dear All,

There is a search feature in cheresources which enables to search for topics posted earlier. All are requested to use the search option to find out answers to their questions, which incidentally are of a repetitive nature in majority cases.

It will save a lot of time in posting as well as for members trying to help out with the answers.

Good luck in using the search feature.

Regards,
Ankur.
