In textbook problems for pressure drop calculation for fluid flow through a given pipe, general fluids like oil with density and viscosity are given. how to add this in hysis as component.

You have two ways - either to create a hypothetical component with given properties, or to create a whole cut in Oil Manager, resulting in same bulk properties. Both options should work, but the first approach is very much simple and straightforward.
