hello everyone !!
i am designing a unit where i have butene-1 in the effluent line along with a triethyle aluminum and it
will be fed to a process to increase it's temp. but what i am facing is that with increasing the temp
the butene-1 is converted to butene-2 which will cuase polymerization in the line . so as my prof.
that i have to jnject amine before it's being sent to increase it's temp.
nw the problem that i was looking in the net to see how the amine is preventing the polymerization i
mean how this is working ! couldn't come with an answer really so if i may ask if someone has a background on this plz?
