If I know that my compressed air pipe is 0.5" and I know that the pressure of the air is at 1bar, is there any way of calculating what the flowrate of the air is in the pipe without a flowmeter?

If you know what is the pressure drop between two points, then you can calculate it (or at least estimate it). By knowing only the source pressure, there is infinite number of solutions.

No, you can't...you need to know at least the differential pressure

Do you want to estimate how much air flow is passing through this line OR you want to estimate how much maximum flow is possible in this line.

Agree, But Any one can forward a formula if there's a pressure at downstream, such as 0.9 bar?

Biz:

Please answer Pawan's basic and direct question: "Do you want to estimate how much air flow is passing through this line OR do you want to estimate how much maximum flow is possible in this line?"

What you have responded with is an agreement to the question! That doesn't make any engineering sense. What Pawan is asking is very basic and deserves a positive response. Please be candid and inform the Forum of WHAT exactly it is that you are trying to do or to ask. We can help you, but you must be specific as to your query.

You must be knowing inlet pressure of Compressor (Mostly atmospheric).
You can find out the flow from compressor curve using RPM and ∆P across it.
