Good morning
My project is designing a NGL demethaniser unit, and my first step is to create a material balance. I got all my information from the company but were only allowed to use the feed information. Now i've got a seperator drum where liquid and vaopr and seperated, therefore we have to calcualte pressure and get the K value in order to get the compositons, and the temperature is a trial and error. What i need is a K value list of all the components.
Thank You wink.gif

First define the "K" value that you are writing about. There are all kinds of K values.

I assume you are a student and have been assigned a fictional project that will be graded by your instructors. Who is the "company" that you are writing about?

You state: "i've got a seperator drum where liquid and vaopr and seperated, therefore we have to calcualte pressure and get the K value in order to get the compositons, and the temperature is a trial and error. What i need is a K value list of all the components." Just exactly what is it that you are doing (or expected to do) in this exercise? Please be specific and clear in your description - otherwise, we can't help out when we don't understand what you are writing or doing.

Await your response and answers to the above.

THe K value is the vapor-liquid equilibrium.
We are expected to find the bubble point and dew point in order to know what's leaving on the top and the bottom (composition).
I'm dealing with GASCO-UAE, where they recivee associated gas and produce NGL, and from the whole process we have to design the chilldown demethanizer unit.
