Dear all

I begun to calculate the overall heta transfer for WHR boiler . I pose to perceive what are the critical factor to be taken into consideration while calc the same . Notebly the heat transfer is shell and tube type and medium is fluegas and organic fluid

Thanks for being so understanding.

Hi,

can you put more info on process steam type or composition ? are these fouling ? process pressure / temperatures ?

also TEMA type of your Whb

cheers,

Dear sir

Thanks for your generosity

Input Data of flue gas

1) Flue Gas SOURCE-1(PRE-HEATER) SOURCE-2(COOLER OUTLET)

Flow 259701 Nm3 / Hr 159619 Nm3 / Hr

Inlet Temperature 324 Deg C 382 Deg C

(to boiler)

Dust content 12 g/m3 15g/m3

Above is the input data of flue gas to boiler , as there is two source point of heat in cement plant. I had complied the operating parameter of same

As inquired by you for TEMA design , lets be frank i dont know the significance of using TEMA in boiler. Kindly enlighten me about the same

Objectively we may use the organic fluid. Decisively the operating parameter will be normal , since the generation is of 2MW Power.

Taking above in consideration , kindly have me your response

MONTEK
